Quick question as I can't tell just from looking at it, how thick is that rad at the front? I wound up breaking one of my rads with a rookie mistake (picked up one of the longer screws) so I'm on the hunt for a new one and thought I'd may as well go a bit beefier if I can, is that a 60mm or is...
By a regular are we talking 30mm, it's been a while since I've been in the water space all told so I'm not quite familiar with whether regular is 30mm or if that's considered slim etc, the rads I've got handy are 360x30 and 360x40, if we reckon that'd fit I'll grab one shortly :)
I have a quick question regarding the P600S that I've not been able to find much for so far, what's the biggest combo of rad and fan that can be fit in the front while still fitting a 360x30 up top? I've got a 360x40 and a 360x30 handy with fans and wonder if this'll fit properly as I've seen...
I still use what's essentially a 3930K in my main system (an E5 1650 specifically) and it works fine for everything I do, i run the same motherboard as yourself too and it's super solid, on my old 3960X (R.I.P) i was able to squeeze 4.9GHz out of her and with the 1650 I can get 4.5 with about...
many thanks for the reply, im glad i have that confirmed then, ill most likely be taking the plunge for one of these in a short while, im under the assumption that the 980 waterblocks will fit then? id have thought so but with the different 'caps' to reduce/get rid of coil whine, it's something...
does anyone know if there are any water blocks for these? really considering one when my birthday comes around but i hate buying into cards with no water options XD, looks allot like the same PCB of the 980 but can't find anything on it, can anyone confirm if it's a 980 PCB or if it's a custom...
thanks :) think ill go for it then once i have the funds :) just thought it best to be sure will have to see if i can actually run anything at that res once i go for it :)
right im thinking of grabbing one of these korean 2560x1440 monitors that are cheapish on ebay but i am wondering if my msi hd5850 1gb (the twin frozr variant) could run just such a panel? just not for gaming at that res (or at all really) just for browsing about the internet and content...
The 6xx series was the first Nvidia cards able to run 3 screens from a single card (provided the card is a Kepler based card, not a Fermi rebrand), or the 5xxx series from AMD if you're happy to use Displayport for at least 1 screen.
i may have to throw my 5850 back in then or just stick to...
thanks, be nice if i could get three run three with one being gaming. i suppose i could try it next time i get chance but that may be a short while away as ill need a cable and then also a desk mount as i haven't room on the desk so it would have to go off the edge. Many thanks for your reply though
Right peeps, the question i have is in regards to running 3 monitors, i am aware that for the Nvidia surround requires 2 cards for three monitors but my question is can i run 3 monitors off of one card and just game on the primary monitor? many thanks in advanced to all whom answer even if only...
sorry to dig up such an old thread but i have actually done this, the same HP board from the first page, 8gb DDR2 667 ECC, 2 quad core xeon E5335's and a radeon HD5850 all for £100 (minus the GPU as that i have had for a while which i bought for £60 some time before i got this lol) but i have...
