    AMD Zen 5 rumours

At the rate we are going at we are still going to be tweaking Zen4 when Zen5 arrives and if you upgrade, that tweak path is going to start all over again :D Some good news I read today though said AMD have changed their roadmap and were going to support AM5 up till 2026, I'll see if I can find...

    A620M-HDV/M.2+ memory issues

Have you had a look at FCLK speeds and SOC voltage, these 8000 series CPU are supposed to be able to run upto 2500FCLK, but for 6000mhz ram you should only need to set it to 2000FCLK, set soc volatge to 1.25v which will be perfectly safe, however you might be limited by the board, not sure how...

Bought a Soundblaster X4, starting to regret it!

Sorry, ive not read the whole thread, but you should have brought the X3 instead of the X4, they look exactly the same, X3 is cheaper, but the X3 is a 32bit DAC, and for some reason they went backwards with the X4 and only made it a 24bit DAC.

Asus ProArt X670E WiFi - Windows 11 Clean Install Issues

WOW !!! Tell me about it, I forget this everytime I re-install windows, I cant believe Microsoft haven't included the drivers in the ISO yet, but the way I get around it is I turn on WiFi, just to get to the windows desktop, install the LAN driver and then turn off WiFi off again, its no...

I got there in the end this morning, after a battle with it last night I gave up, I changed the o ring on the DDC pump for the one supplied with the FLT80 and all my problems seemed to be gone, its only the 4.1, but my d5 pump vario was noisy at number 3, too slow at number 2 and too powerful at...

    BRSK

When they put the little black plastic boxes on them you are probably about a month away for being able to book an install, thats how long it took them in my area.

X570 Aorus Elite - ethernet stopped working

I had an issue with a Gigabyte X570 Master ethernet controller, a year or so ago but that was the i225v controller, the intel controllers are the worst, I managed to fix it by updating the firmware for the controller, unfortunately I dont think I have that firmware anymore, but I got it from...

    ARGB questions

The only downside I see with this, as it connects to 1 header on the motherboard, everything you have connected to this hub will be the same pattern (static, rainbow, etc) and the same colour.

    Phanteks D30 daisychaining

Each of those fans are 0.2amps for the motor, so if your headers are 1amp, then you can only safely connect 4 fans to it to leave some headroom, if you have a 2amp header then you can connect all of them it it. The LED side of those fans is 0.45amps per fan, and the limit of a header is...

    Ryzen ITX Motherboards

Be careful with the Shift XT, its not nicknamed the toaster because you can expand it, theres no room for any fans in it at all except 2 exhaust.

    ARGB questions

Im using the Razer Chroma ARGB controller, it has its own power feed from your PSU which powers all the LEDs you plug into it, it can handle upto 240 LEDs just more than a few, it actually plugs into a USB2 header on the motherboard and you can use Signal RGB, Open RGB or Razer software to...

    Corsair 2500X

So my vertical GPU bracket from corsair arrived, and what I realized was the EK 140mm fans I have no longer fit, but this is due to the 27mm thickness of the fans, so for now ive had to remove them, ive ordered some 25mm thick 140mm fans which should be here tomorrow and without the extra long...

    Ryzen ITX Motherboards

No different really to running a 7600X 6 core 12 thread chip, frequency cores for everything in windows, cache cores for games, it never hits 100% and shes only running a 7700XT GPU, it plays everything we've put it through.

    Ryzen ITX Motherboards

The only downside of the ASRock B650 Lightening board is it only has a Gen 4 PCI-e slot, the only Gen 5 it has is 1 x M.2 slot, for the same price as the ASUS board, I had a look at the MSI ITX board too as ive had great results with MSI in the past but no Gen 5 at all on that one, also ive not...

7800XT Atrocious Performance, Even After Driver Rollback

Which drive are you running the games from ? Fanxiang are not the best and their quality control in my experience has been very hit and miss, they are cheap for a reason, it could be that maybe one of drives is overheating causing it to throttle or possibly failing slowly, and just coincidence...
