Reviews were available for this card before they went live for order, and they showed it was marginally slower than an FE but quieter. It also showed that it was limited in OC potential with limited power margins, so if you purchased this card, or pre-ordered it without doing your homework then...

Lot of fuss over nothing. If you want a good overclocker than buy their amp extreme series. This card is fine for a base reference card, and its a damn sight quieter than the FE card.

Got the Zotac purely based on my previous experience with the brand.

When can we expect real benchmarks? I only thing I keep seeing is various developers saying they are going to try and hit 1080p 60fps with RTX. Surely that isn't true considering the cost of the card?

Just because a person has plenty of disposable income doesn't mean they are wasteful with it. It looks like the 1080ti Amp Extreme will be my last card, and that PC gaming is becoming more and more irrelevant. Being a person who enjoys single player games, I have over the last couple of years...

Well I've owned Pallit, EVGA and Zotac, and I'd only by Zotac Amp Extremes from now on.

lol If this had been Nvidia a lot of people on this thread would be crucifying them, but because its AMD its ok. Most people I know weren't aware that the lower price was limited to a small batch of cards, they though it was Vega's retail price. It matters not as Vega is a bit of a cluster****...

I had this problem with a motherboard I sold on eBay where the buyer bent some pins installing the CPU. I purchased a USB microscope from the rainforest, and it was fairly straightforward to bend them back. You just need to take your time.

It's really not that relevant, in the end your order was put before others who ordered that card before you. I'm not having a go at you, it's the system OCUK are using that is wrong.

This I don't agree with, and its actually making me consider cancelling my order. Why should people who order different cards be put in front of other people's orders because they change their minds? If you change cards then you should go to the back of the queue for that card.

Well they mustn't have got many Zotac Amp Extremes in, as the queue was really short two weeks after I ordered mine, and I was told they are awaiting stock to fulfill my order just now. :(
