Asus issues BIOS update to solve Intel CPU game crashing.

I know where people are coming from, as I used to have a problem with this; however, it does help to learn the proper way to overclock and undervolt plus I have KS level 13900K (SP104 - P-Cores 113, E-Cores 88, on the VF Point Offset it has 5.8Ghz at 1.388v) as I got lucky with the bin, and it...

    Reddit is dying

You also can't trust 75% of the advice on Reddit, as most people literally haven't a clue what they are talking about. I've had to intervene to help with overclocking and some PC builds via private messaging, as some people were giving terrible advice.

What PC Collector's/Deluxe Editions do you have?

I actually wanted the collector's edition with the Mind Flayer (for that alone) but this might be a good compromise. I've also ordered a couple of hand painted models for BG3 from Etsy, one of Shadowheart and one of Karlach, I hope they turn out as good as the reviews are, as they weren't cheap!

What PC Collector's/Deluxe Editions do you have?

I seriously need it glass-fronted, the dust is ridiculous, even after a couple of days!

What PC Collector's/Deluxe Editions do you have?

Missed the top one Diablo 4 and Stalker! There are also parts of Fallout 4 and Dark Souls 3 stashed in there. The Bloodborne one is a board game. So annoyed I didn't splash out for the Baldur's Gate 3 one, I would have bought 2 or 3 of those and sold the other 2 and made a packet.

What PC Collector's/Deluxe Editions do you have?

See if you can spot them, 4 are obvious and bonus points for another 4 that aren't as obvious as I don't have the boxes anymore.

    Crashes to desktop - AMD/Radeon 6800XT-7900XT

Run some stability tests using OCCT (SSE and AVX2) andTestMem5 (with the Absolut profile as it's about 3 hours). 6 hours in total, 3 on each. 90% of time it's either the dodgy XMP profiles or it's your dodgy RAM overclocking, whether it be speed, timings or voltage.

Memory benchmarking / error checking application

Memory testing I use: Basic, recommended you start off with these first: Memtest86 (Boot) Memtest64 (Windows) Advanced, recommend some but not all these tests unless you have the time: HCI Memtest Pro (not free) AIDA64 - full stability test. OCCT - Memory Stability Test SSE & AVX2 TestMem5 -...

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

Doubtful, with AMD heading into the AI market, they will use cut-down hardware and features from these, which will no doubt appear in the next-gen consoles and probably incorporate hardware RT.

    DDR5 64GB RAM

I'm guessing if you are aiming for 6000Mhz you've got an AMD chip. I bought the Kingston Beast RGB 2x32GB, 5600MHz C40, don't quote me but I think the C36 (Expo) and the C40 (XMP) are the same A die chip BUT I'm not sure all are A die, some could be M die so it might be a dice roll but with a...

    DDR5 64GB RAM

Raptor Lake scales extremely well with RAM speed but tops out at around 8200-ish (which is only possible on 2-DIMM boards at the moment) so the faster the RAM, the better FPS and performance you get, unlike Ryzen where the performance tops out at 6400Mhz even though the new AGESA BIOS allows it...

    DDR5 64GB RAM

I've got it at 1.265 SA, and 1.43 DDQ & VDDQ. Mem controller voltage at auto.

    DDR5 64GB RAM

Sorry all, I've not replied sooner, as I've been on holiday. Got it sorted, bought this dual RAM cooler from China on eBay for £15, screws into the motherboard (need to remove 2 screws and install standoffs) and works a treat, it's not noisy either compared to the rest of the fans and looks...

    DDR5 64GB RAM

Bought some Kingston Beast RGB RAM 5600 64GB, have to say it's a great overclocker, currently have it at 6800Mhz, and it will even boot at 7200Mhz however my biggest issue is heat, holy crap running the TM5 and OCCT tests it was chugging out more heat than my CPU! CPU was around 60-65C on...

    Please recommend a 1440 monitor

The Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 OLED is out next month (in the UK and EU, it's already out in the US). Might be worth checking out.

Anyone gone from 32" 4k IPS to 34" Curved OLED?

If you're only doing office work, then an OLED is a waste of money, to be honest. I use a 34-inch OLED for everything, work, content, and gaming so I get the best out of it. I did have a 27-inch 4k monitor prior to that (144hz) but I really wanted an OLED so I sold that and bought the Alienware...

Battle of the 34" Ultrawide QD-OLEDS

I have the Alienware DW, not the DWF. Such a good monitor, I was contemplating getting the cheaper DWF but I wanted the G-Sync module (my second monitor has a g-sync module) and what really put me off with the DWF is that it has a tone mapping problem on HDR1000 mode and they've still not fixed...

    Gigabyte AORUS Gen5 10000 SSD

I think I saw a benchmark for it somewhere, 12000 read and 8000 write, or something like that. While the performance is stellar, I'm assuming the temperature will also be stellar. We will get to a point where frequencies and speeds will be too high, that current manufacturing materials will no...
