Measure up. Just be careful with 1000w psu are they are slightly longer e.g. corsair rm1000x is bigger than the rm850x.

Think about saving money on the cpu and spending more on a faster gpu, the balance is wrong between cpu and gpu.

Try minitool partition wizard to delete partition and recreate. There is a free version. Also try rufus to force it to become a USB boot disk that might work.

I'd change the Asus psu for a corsair rm1000x and gpu for nvidia for nvenc.

Put the ram speed down to 3200mhz because anything higher is considered an overclock. Ram could be bad too. Take the old 2 sticks out and put the new 2 sticks in and see if its stable for a while.

Welcome to the forums. The only difference I found was to be extra careful not to damage the delicate pins in the cpu motherboard socket - don't stroke them like I did once, they used to be on the cpu back in the day.
