I’m looking to purchase the Pny verto which is one of the cheaper 4090’s. The reviews show that performance is exactly the same at stock as every other 4090.
I never overclock my gpu and don’t intend to do that with the 4090.
The power phases are a lowly 14 and I’m worried about reliability...
I've taken delivery of the SN850 1TB drive and installed it into my Asus Tuf X570 and I'm getting the speeds advertised.
Will I be able to buy the heatsink separately or will there be a generic heatsink that I could use. I have 2 heatsinks and they are too long.
Thanks
Stewart
I’ve upgraded my electric shower to a digital shower.
In the shower area was a cold water feed only as that was all that was needed for an electric shower. My new digital shower requires a hot and cold feed off the combi boiler. I’ve Tee’d into the hot water pipe feeding the bath and run both...
im running IPVanish on my Nvidia Shield not through the router and it’s Open VPN (UDP) port 1194.
that’s odd, I’ve downloaded the app to my phone and connected using my phone and I’m getting about a 40 meg drop which is way better than I get with the app on nvidia shield where it drops by over...
I’ve had fttp @ 330Mbps for 18 months now and it’s been rock solid with BT costs me £60 per month. I don’t hit 330 and average around 310. Interesting this last week it won’t go about 292Mbps which is still wayyy more than I need but it does feel like they are restricting it slightly as the...
I’ve used IPVanish for over a year with a 300Mbps fttp connection. When I use the VPN then my Speedtest drops to around 80Mbps which is still good but a significant drop.
Is that a normal reduction in performance? Is there anything I could do with my router to improve things? My router is the...
Prices not dropping fast enough, it’s a weird market, you would expect a product that is at least 3 years old to get a price cut but not here. There’s no rush to replace either which again is weird as you would expect new manufacturing processes and features to be updated but no sign of that. A...
They obviously done something, the reviews are ‘largely’ positive. You would think they would be universally positive though if the QZ is designed as a replacement to the Q, which would make me think they have addressed (or tried to address) some of the shortfalls
That’s bad news. I contacted ASUS customer support in US and they confirmed this is a replacement for the Q version. He didn’t say what was different though!
Good to see the reviews coming out as each one delves deeper into the performance the hardware unboxed reviews are great and it certainly pours some colder water over this one.
Seems to be a lot of monitor for £530.
If the g sync experience is confirmed to be equivalent to a ‘proper’ g sync monitor then I think this could be the one for me
Wonder where they have sourced the panels from?
