*** Desk and Room Gallery***

Smogsy, I'd recommend getting a piece of plastic tube and painting it the same colour as the wall, not perfect but looks a lot better than trailing cables! :P

That rooms looking really good though, maybe one day mine will be up to that level. Next on my list is new speakers. :P

I'll be getting pics up a bit later actually now everything is working and set out how I want it. :P

Samsung 2433BW
LG 32LH4010
Kef Q1 Speakers
Cambridge Audio 540A

Crap student housing for the rest of it :p

how do you get itunes like that?

Nope, it goes DG834G V5 -- Sonicwall (you can see between the monitors) -- then the other one, think it's a WIG614 or something like that.

Basically router 1 is acting as a modem, and router 2 is a wireless access point, which I'll be replacing soon with a proper wireless access point. Going to go for a WPN802, which should fill some of the wireless holes in my house.

EDIT: Keyboard and Mouse upgrades next, then speakers, or possibly the other way around. :P

I have been lurking here for a while and really enjoy looking at other peoples setups. Here is mine.

2 x LG W2242S Monitors
An "eerrrr" case with side removed for extra cooling
2.5 Dual Core, 4 GB RAM, 8400GS NVidia, 1TB internal, 1TB external, Win7 Ultimate with 2003 VMware sitting behind.
More of a Graphics & webdesign PC - use the Xbox for games
Xbox 360 with KVM switch
Desk is made from a B&Q work top & old kitchen side leg (brushed alloy)

Sorry for the quality - was taken with iPhone

Surprisingly good monitoors aren't they? The only gripe I have with mine is that it won't go bright enough, the whites look a bit beige.

You hit the nail on the head. I've had one running for about a year with a 17" LG Flatron and I recently got another 22 to match. I was amazed at the colour difference between the new and the old. The whites certainly seem to go after a while. But then what do you expect for just over £110 each.

Yeh I never noticed until I got my 28", but the W2242S is over a year old now.

Just a solid dependable monitor really, it's never missed a beat, I just think the backlight is going a bit dull now.

I paid £130 I think for mine inc postage, got it from OCUK actually on my first order. :P

They're the sort of monitor that will be a great second hand buy when everyone starts to get rid of them. :P
