Now there's a backhanded compliment if ever I saw one.
But seriously, cheers mate, I'll try and post a video of how I'm running the course. Here's some tips though of the way I'm doing it. As you come out of the tunnel, DON'T brake. You have to momentarily (VERY momentarily) come off the gas and steer HARD right slightly earlier than you might expect to at the precise moment the line turns red, then get back on the gas immediately and up over onto the bridge. THAT has made all the difference for me. If you're at 0:30 seconds as you're heading towards the bridge after exiting that tunnel, you've a good chance of making sub 52 seconds. Also, run the tunnel as quick and far as you can steering hard right, changing down from 5th to 4th while still moving, don't bother to brake. You'll undoubtedly hit the left wall as I do, but that's ok. But foot off the gas when you do or the car will continue to hug the wall and slow you down. If you take your foot off once it hits, you can hit the gas immediately after in 4th gear and you'll be moving very quickly again and coming out of the tunnel at about 0:29 secs.
Also, at the very start of the lap, don't brake as it turns sharp left just after the chequered marking on the ground. you can either stay in 5th or what I always do is change down to 4th gear to hold the car without needing to brake. Then veer fairly hard right to keep with the racing line and keeping the momentum.
The start of the lap I can get right almost everytime, it's the turn before the 2nd tunnel shall we say coming up the hill as you say I should just veer off the gas and this should help but I keep braking just a tad. The only place I have been to just go down a gear and not break is after the tunnel. I just simply go from 5th to 4th and just hug the right as much as possible and I can be over the fly over in around 33secs.
But very good tips mate. thanks
