The SFF Case Gallery And Specs Thread

That looks nice, Osian. Reminds me of Asus bamboo series laptops. Although as I was scrolling down I thought you had used a toilet water tank before I got the full picture ;)

Osian, do you have any air intake? I like it, but I would wonder if the temps would get a little warm with the same hot air circulating and not dissipating anywhere? Are you using built in GFX or putting a dedicated in there?
Certainly would look lovely next to a home theatre setup :D

Got a 8800gt i think it is at the moment with a passive heat sink. I'm thinking of putting an exhaust outlet on the right hand end and there is space between my graphics and audio card for air to come in. Think this should work ok as the inlet air has to pass the graphics card to get to the fan then from the fan it gets pushed out. Temps with the lid off are good so I'm hoping this will work nicely.

Scythe Ninja 2 with a single fan

Waiting on bits to make a crude drive shelf and a nice brushed aluminium lid.

What is that? looks cool

Snap! So did I! Better hope it's not a common mistake Osian :P

"Dude wtf! You **** in my PC!"

Some nice SG-05 builds in this thread. Mine is pretty basic at the moment, but I did at one point have an ATI HD 4870 512MB card in it.

Form Factor: Mini-ITX
Manufacturer: Custom / Silverstone chassis (SG05)
CPU: Pentium Dual Core E5300
RAM: 2GB DDR2-800
HDD(s): 1 x 500GB Seagate 7200rpm
GFX: Integrated Geforce 9300 itx / Sapphire ATI 4870 512MB
Speed (if overclocked): 3.2 GHz
Temps: 40 - 50 degrees C

Here's a link to the build. Otherwise I'll attach a pic with the card in.

Years ago I always wanted a Shuttle, but wasn't prepared to pay the premium. Then while I searching for a replacement for my recent terrible ANTEC midi tower mATX build, I suddenly remembered these little Silverstone cases and immediately hammered my debit card. :D I returned to silver cases purely because black cases are such a dust magnet.

Not the tidiest of work, but I did what I could concious of cable/fan conflicts. I was surprised by how much space I actually did have to work with. Keeping my blu-ray drive external freed up plenty of space for my PSU's immense tangle of leads and SATA cables made things even easier. I hate to think what it would have been like to manhandle IDE cables in one of these things!

Added thumb screws for ease of access, but I really don't want to have to access it again for a while. ;)

SPECS:

Case - Silverstone SUGO SG01S-F – I went black, but I came back...
PSU – Seasonic 650w - Now changed to Corsair 450 Modular
Mobo - ASUS M4A88TD-M EVO
AMD X3 720BE @ 2.80GHz with Scythe Shuriken Rev.B (flipped over fan)
ATI Sapphire Vapor-X 5770 1GB
8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR 3 @ 1333MHz
3 x 80mm Noctua case fans

HDD's
Crucial C300 SSD 64GB - Boot
Intel X25-M SSD 80GB - Steam - Now changed to a second c300.
Samsung HD503HI 500GB – Dump

TEMPS: Well it hasn't melted yet.

I think I need a new camera too. An ancient 4mp Cyber-shot doesn't really do the job. The fact I have no skills, doesn't help.:o

Edit: Will be installing a Sony silver DVD drive after getting a modular PSU, as the Seasonic was making a nasty buzzing noise , which I could no longer tolerate.

Shame Coolermaster no longer make the alloy stick on bezel for optical drives. As any colour other than black is not supported in European and U.S. component market. And Pioneer XLC range of optical drives is Far East only.

I'll post my little box. You'll notice the big vacant space where my lovely HD5850 should be, but it seems to be FUBAR so I'll be testing it in a new machine and if it really is dead then replacing with a 5770, which should fit in this case quite nicely. One good by-product of the graphics card going **** up meant I had a chance to tidy some of those cables up. I'll soon be getting rid of my crappy cooler and buying a Shuriken to replace it.:)

Specs are as follows:

Silverstone Sugo SG05B
Zotac 9300 ITX WiFi
Intel E8400 @ 3.0GHz
4GB OCZ Gold DDR2 6400
Samsung Spinpoint M7 400GB

Ght10,

The three small fans below the PSU mod looks clean.

Shame you couldn't keep the front fan flush with the case, or tried a SG06B to keep it concealed. As I'm not a fan of protruding stuff from small cases.

Surely it wouldn't work at all with the SG06? The fan is showing out the front because of the space - the blank front panel of the SG06 wouldn't allow you put the 120mm fan on at all...

As for the fans becing clean could it be because they are new?
