cars you regret getting rid of :(

Evo II GSR. 300BHP, 3" straight through exhaust, HKS filters, 1.2 bar boost.

JDM STi v7 Scooby. Awesome all round car although not as raw as the Evo.

I miss the mk2 Golf gti 16v I had many years ago, but most of all I miss my Ducati Monster S4 - t'was a great bike with bags of character, and it looked and sounded gorgeous.

My DC2... the Clio 182 is awesome to drive, handles etc. But it lacks the character that the DC2 has. But it is nicer having a newer car that doesn't need to have bits replacing every weekend.

My Green 306, the paintwork was aboloutley lovely - Sherwood Green - shame about the 1.6 engine ...

It was completely mint too !

I've only sold one car, a Volvo 850, so no I don't regret selling it ;). I regret selling my BMW K75RT though - reliable, comfortable, 70mpg on a good run, and 0-60 in under 5 seconds... now an appreciating classic too :(.

My SJ was a complete Beast & the only motor I have felt completely safe in when going Nuts off road. Should Never have sold it. :(

My Vit took complete abuse for 13 months & never skipped a beat & was loads more comfortable on road than the SJ.

Lastly my Landy 90 County which I took swimming, Nowt feels tuther than a Landy 90, I miss it like an old Girl friend who did that kinky stuff for me. :(

One other motor of mine springs to mind but I've got no pics, It was a Mk2 Tina 1600GT debadged & tweaked by me. I watch episodes of the Sweeney in the hope I can spot one. :(

I loved it because it was always seen as the underdog

No it wasn't. It was the most powerful hot hatch when it came out - it was never seen as the underdog, it just relegated itself to the bottom of the class because it wasn't as good as the competition.

Don't confuse that with being the underdog :p

lol true, it was always seen as the one with the biggest punch but lacked the handling of it's peers, nothing underdog about it.

There's underdog, and there's just plain not as good as it could have been.

Not that it's a bad car at all, infact it's never been called a bad car, just the Focus, Golf and Megane all seemed to be rated a bit better.

I only regret selling 3 cars.

This was my first RWD purchase and still one of the best cars I've ever driven. It proved itself as incredibly quick and capable on the few trackdays I took it to and was quick thanks to the mild tuning and shorter differential. Only sold it as it was a second car and was hardly ever used.

I bought this for work when I still had the e30. Absolutely phenominal car - it was pretty much the cleanest e39 I'd seen for sale. The best car I've owned and I will have to spend a lot to top it in the future. Only sold it as it was replaced by a company car and I didn't need 4 cars.

My first V8! The car was incredibly well specced from the factory with a few rare options and full black leather which was still in great condition. I sold it as it needed the same body work as my W115 had needed and I just couldn't face doing it over the winter.

i suppose an M reg escort diesel L.

mate said it was the worst car he'd ever driven but it cost me £50 with a full tank of diesel (failed mot hence sale to me), sold it 2 years later for £250 with a full mot on it. see it still driving around now. fitted it with a tow bar off a scrapper for nothing.

did 60mpg regardless....

205 GTi 1.6. Awful cabin of course, but so much fun to drive. I think I'd still be driving it today if what happened to it hadn't happened.

Spent hundreds making it mint, then someone kindly pulled out in front of me at a junction and destroyed its front end completely. So I didn't so much get rid of it, as someone got rid of it for me. I was just finishing uni, so that was replaced by a MKVI Ford Fiesta :(.

Half leather seats from a 1.9, apart from that and the stereo, completely stock.
