I was going to upgrade, then I changed my job and was doing ludicrous amounts of miles so I just bought a work horse. I'm now working back in Cambridge again (thank god) so I've promised myself a new car soon.

Heart wants 911, head probably means it will be a Convertible 335i BMW 3 Series!

Now the Corsa was the underdog - it got a lot of bad assumptions because it was a Vauxhall, and because it was a Corsa :) It was a lot better than you'd think a Vauxhall Corsa could be though.

Thanks. The annoying thing is, I see it every now and then - some girl owns it now and it is swirled to **** with curbed wheels :(
 
My old '84 mk1 Astra GTE.

Was great fun, but had to go to allow me to fund finishing university.

They go for an absolute fortune now........ :(
 
My first car. 205 XS. Mildly fettled with a bit of 'expert' carb tweaking, rare Euro Rallye cam and an even rarer 4-2-1 manifold. Pushing about 100bhp and with its close ratio gearbox it was good for 0-60 in a blistering 8secs making it a pretty quick first car. GTI body trims, 15" 1.9 alloys and lovely black goodwood leather seats finished it off.

Really, really tidy, I swear I got an offer to buy it literally every week. It was an awesome little car that I really, really should have kept, but in the end answering the '1.6 or 1.9' question at petrol stations with 'Actually it's a 1.4' got to me.

It was the best car I've owned. And I left it to rot while I chased more speed :(
