There is an 11 vs 11 online mode etc.

There is an in-game tutorial that shows you how to do the tricks.

Thanks to someone else on another forum, you can get the pc version for £16. They email you an activation code then you activate and download it through origin.They seem to be a genuine seller, although I've not used them before. A this time of post they have 11 codes in stock.

Anyone else getting ghosting when the camera moves fast, say after you do a long ball.

My refresh rate is 60Hz but I cant go any higher at 1680 * 1050, only if I drop the resolution right down to 1280 * 1024 but it looks pants then. Monitor is a Dell e228wfp and Im connected via DVI.

Have all the settings on max and added the screen_sleep_16 line to stop the micro stuttering. Using crossfire 5850s too.
 
Try removing that and just ticking the ati fix box in the fifasetup.exe ?
I didn't add that line as normal just ticked the box and it seems ok btw am running a 5770 2x aa 1680-1050 vsync always on in ccc and its smooth as silk.Btw isn't it meant to be 'screen_sleep_16' with the ' ghosting to me sounds like somehow vsync is not on.

Btw I am not convinced this is the same as console version here feels like a hybrid of the fifa 10 engine still to me ? or am i imagining it

I've tried that too. What refresh rate is your monitor at? Have you tried doing a long ball say from defence and then the camera pans fast to keep up, thats when I see he ghosting on the players and slightly on the ball
 
Amazon might need to think about posting my game. Won't be impressed if it isn't here on Friday and that's starting to look a bit unlikely as I refuse to pay for first class delivery just to get a game on the day of release.

I'm being a cheap tightarse and saving the 86p so I guess I've made my own bed and deserve to lie in it until the game turns up. In fairness to Amazon, the last few games I've pre-ordered have been delivered either the day before release or on the Friday of release.

I'm unforgiving to games coming late though - hence I no longer pre-order with Play and Game were fine until the prices became ridiculous.
 
Tried the 360 demo and it looks worse that the PC which is surprising considering the last incarnations. I still get the ghosting when the ball moves fast and the camera has to pan fast to catchup so it must be the game.
 
Just got Fifa in the post from shopto, installing now. I hope there are people online already, not really interested in the single player at all.

Damn, it wants me to install it through Origin. I guess it won't let me play until tomorrow then? Thats terrible.

This is BS. What an absolute joke, what was wrong with installing from a disc? The annoying this is I could have downloaded this game a few days ago, but I didn't, and even though I have a disc in front of me, I'm not allowed to play it. No wonder plenty of people don't bother buying it.
