Odd, I ordered mine on Sunday and it was dispatched yesterday. Mine is via royal mail though with free forum shipping. Seems OCUK sent the royal mail orders but not the DPD ones.

Managed to get some light from support. Apparently, they don't really know why it was not sent and will dispatch it today...

Not really acceptable tbh since it was guaranteed.:rolleyes:

Massive apologies on my behalf for this. I am trying to find out what has caused the hold up.

If anyone affected by this could send me a message in trust with your email address and your OcUK order number, then I will contact you regarding the matter.
 
Best option tbh would be to crack open the cases and provide the keys via email prior to sending the retail units out, this of course would have to be done in a controlled manner.

More work yes but release date delivery was guaranteed.

(I did do it eailer by apparently it said my email is my really old one I never even typed in here? Even though I never typed that email in. The email it said I have was smoogel@2email.**.** and I don't own this anymore, so I typed my other email address:) If that is OK)
 
Well I got my copy because i went to the local game shop and bought it, Cost me £39.99, But atleast i have it to play now.. :P canceling my oc order.. :( quite disappointed tbh.
 
Extremely disappointed by this, especially having ordered with you guys over 2 weeks ago. I've already cancelled my order, going out now to buy it from a store. =/

Once again, allow me to apologise on behalf of OcUK for the mess here.

without wishing to push the blame elsewhere, a missed collection at the weekend for us has caused this problem meaning that around 12 customers missed out.

This was pretty much out of our hands but to make up somewhat for the grief that this has caused everyone, I am willing to offer selection of free games to each customer effected by this.

as a good will gesture, this includes people who placed orders and cancelled them.

if you placed an order for GW2 and it did not arrive on release day, please send me a message in trust with your order details and your email address and I will provide you with some free games as way of an apology.
 
Sorry for all you guys who didn't get your order. I hope you all manage to at least get the keys so you can get playing :)

Mine arrived this afternoon, thanks very much for the free upgrade in the postage to next day OCUK. Very impressed (as always)!
 
Can anyone fix this for me? Mine didn't arrive. Just got back from work hoping to end the day with some GW2, but no delivery =/

Feel really let down as you guys did say it would be with us well before release date. and guaranteed it for release.

Have emailed rjkoneill but no response.

Don't think i will be ordering games from OCUK again.
 
I know and that is the problem.

They said they know 12 orders were messed up. so why not send them each their code instead of waiting for them to ask for it.

It's just messed up and i don't understand how only 12 orders could get messed up.

Really is unacceptable
 
If you pre-order Guild Wars 2 before 12pm on Friday 24th of August 2012 we will guarantee that you will receive it by the release date of Tuesday 28th of August 2012

^^^^ that is my main problem it was Guaranteed for today but it hasnt happened.

Just a case of false advertising really and am really dissapointed
 
most people got theirs, was a mixup and accidents happen, i can understand your upset tho, im sure they will explain it
