To replace whom though? Dani might not be having it all his own way, but leading up until last weekend and now 2nd vs Cal in 4th?

I do hope that if the only options made available to Cal are Ducati or Tech 3 Yamaha, that he swallows his pride and sticks with the Yamaha - those Ducatis are so ridiculously uncompetitive - given that Dovi was about equal of Cal on the Yamaha, and now back of the grid...

Could he end up on the LCR bike instead of Bradl as that a factory bike? or maybe Honda stump up the money to field a 4th factory bike for him?

I know Crutchlow wants a factory ride and he has been linked to Ducati but i can't help but feel if he goes there it's game over. Only Stoner has got that bike to work and even Rossi wasted 2 years on it. I really can't see why anybody would want to ride a Ducati. It's not as if the Tech3 Yamaha is uncompetitive. He should stay put until a decent factory rides becomes available.

I think he is happy at tech 3 , the thing is it was rumoured that Espargaro was going to tech 3 for 2014 , and they were keeping smith , so Cal was going to be forced out. crazy i know.

dani passed fit then misses first practice, I think the doc's need to say enough, come back when you really are fit

The report was he sat it out because of mist and so was unlikely to improve on his FP times. That meant he was in quali 1 regardless soon point in going and risking himself.

strange, everyone else went faster in fp3 than fp2
so he really needed to go out, now he will have to run in quali 1 with the crts so may not even get to quali 2
