You can download the Retail updater from here, should be easy enough to flash it.
NSU For Retail

It is only 3.0.4 but should update to 3.0.8 and then display what firmware needs to download for your phone. Will be about 1.2GB.

Just did this on a colleagues 920 as the full care suite is on my other PC.

This will wipe the phone though won't it? The only way to retain your data is by OTA correct?

In the settings on the phone you go to backup and it saves all your contacts and apps to the cloud, after the flash you just restore from that and you get everything back, just have to redo the home screen tiles and the odd setting.

Was pretty painless, done mine twice now and colleagues once.

This is how I do mine as well. :D

Flashed to Amber on my Lumia 920, though I thought I read somewhere it was easier to download all your xbox music songs? Previously I had to select each individual one, can anyone see a 'select all' option?

Yup size matters

I want a phone with the power storage and camera of the 920 but with a screen an inch smaller...

it's next month.

No, that's the New York one, which is end of September, there was meant to be a Moscow one yesterday, but can't see anything about it anywhere, other than at the start of the month when news sites where saying this.

Nokia has started to send out press invites for an event that will be held on August 28th in Moscow, Russia.

So, battery woes update.

I let it run right down today, got home and it died as it indicated (about 2%), the left it off for a short while, went to try and turn it back on to make sure it was completely dead, it now saying it has 63% left and is staying on.

Hmmm. Just had another update, looks like the OS and another firmware update.

Mines now running: FW: 3049.0000.1330.0009 OS: 8.010328.78

That doesn't seem right, I'll have to check that number tomorrow. Have you flashed your phone? If so, what with? I wouldn't have done...

Nope this was a OTA update.

My phone was running 3047.0000.1326.2008, as this one is a Vodafone handset.

Ah it's cool. Just looked it up. Vodafone only release. I don't work on Vodafone ;)
