Bit of an update, Not a massive change, but now rocking a EVGA 780 FTW...

Its seriously quiet, even at full load you honestly can only just hear it, and thats with the fan peaking at around 85% with a quick MSI AB fan profile..

First impressions, very happy indeed.

Quick and bad pic of it next to my old 670 WF... Forgot to take a pic of it installed... :(

Having the PC case on the desk is really annoying me noise wise, the constant whiiir especially on load! Considering moving it to the floor. Do you think it will make much difference? I'll miss the pretty looks :(

As above dude.. Might reduce it slightly but dust will run rampant.

Even the most cleanest of rooms seem to create a lot of particles for the fans to suck up.

Mine have always been on the floor,no case is pretty enough to warrant putting it on a desk, besides, ive got a monitor to look at...not a case.

My PC has always been on the floor too, Got a dust filter on the front fan which does an amazing job of keeping the dust out of the case, just give it a clean now and again. Sorted.

Moved into a new case a few days ago :)

:D
What case is that? :)
