i dont think he will sign tbh. he would have already if he was staying.

So some will get there wish and it could be a great thing for arsenal. Get a top world class Manager onboard and sort out our injuries and we can wipe the floor of liverpool and co.

You've made it into the CL for countless seasons on the bounce yet haven't signed world class players or won trophies.

CL qualification only counts for anything if you actually capitalise on the opportunity the money brings but Arsenal have shown season after season that it's not easy.

A trophy for a club that's won **** all for years should be far bigger than another 4th place finish that brings no silverware. If you win the FA Cup you'll remember that game far more than a last day of the season win to get you 4th.

We had a stadium to pay for, its the big one in North London. Now that the majority of the debt around the Emirates is gone I think the purse strings are a bit looser to allow us to bring in the talent we need.

The FA cup is a nothing trophy, for all the talk of the magic of the FA cup nobody really gives a crap about it. Would I be pleased if we won it - sure I would, but in the long run it means nothing. I don't want to be playing in the mickey mouse UEFA league - tiring fixtures that have absolutely no point and would effectively ruin any chance we had in any other competion because of the thursday night games.
 
We need to be able to compete on wages look who arsenal missed out on in countless seasons or who let go to city go £££ they're offering Sagna over £100k a week ffs

The stadium argument is nonsense. Even after taking into account the stadium repayments you were (and are) far better off than before.

And I can't get my head around the whole CL/FA Cup arguement, especially for Arsenal supporters. You'd really rather have another season of imploding in March only to scrape 4th on the last day over winning an actual trophy?
