I'm liking that rapt0r, some more details in regards to the lighting would be nice :p

Sure thing!

50pcs 5mm UV 1000 mcd LED Bulb Light lamp 2pin Round Top, £0.99p

Measure the strips of leds, then solder the jumper wire to end of strip so it can go round the corners easily, then finish of with the heatshrink, this pic is from when I made the mistake of buying waterproof LED strip, within a couple of hours after turning on your PC the heat from inside turns the LEDs yellow as the silicone melts, so that was a £10 mistake :o
Also I got the legnth of the wire perfect on the second time so no slack in the corners of the case.

The 600t has a perfect little lip that runs all round the edge that you can fit the LED strip into, hard to get a good pic now without pulling the case to bits again

I started the LED strip top right and went antic-clockwise round the edges like so.

The top strip was done twice, 1 pointed inwards in the lip and 1 pointed downwards on the ceiling of the case and finishing with a small strip over the top of the rear fan giving sideways illumination, again hard to get a decent pic without dismantling

There is a couple of holes at the top right of the 600t chassis that allow you to run cables above the DVD area to the backside where I hooked up the LEDs black/red power cable to a spare molex using the crimp pins

For the front panel HDD activity and Power LEDs was simply just unsoldering and re-soldering the new UV LEDs in place. The HDD activity LED is actually on top of a little plastic stand-off (not shown in pic). Another tip is to wrap the HDD activity LED in a bit of tinfoil so it reflects the light upwards (the HDD activity light hole on the 600t is tiny) as when I reassembled the PC you could barely notice the light, so disassembled again and added the tinfoil and now it's much brighter.

That's it, took about 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon to complete, well 2 Saturday afternoons really as I bought the waterproof LEDs to begin with :o:p

Looks very nice Rob, love a red and black theme myself.

Thanks,

I know it's not in the same league as some of the custom watercooled setups here, but I'm planning on a full water build next year.

This is my first PC build for 5 years, after getting a bit disillusioned with the whole PC gaming thing back around 2009.

I'd forgotten how addictive tweaking things were. :)

Only on air cooling myself, in a case that is primarily designed with custom water cooling in mind. A nice wc loop would be great but rather costly. Good oc on the 4770k, what are load temps like under the cooler, (H100 i presume)?

Yep H100i, after a few problems getting the temps to settle down when it was first installed, I idle around 25c & load temps are between 55c-60c when gaming.

Here is a picture of my very old (about 7/8 years) and now dead PC. Chieftec Dragon case, ABIT NF7-S, Barton 2500XP, Radeon 9800 Pro etc etc. Looks pretty swish right?? :p

I got myself a new rig a couple of months ago and now I'm at the point where I'm pretty happy with it. I know the cable management is a bit ropey, but with the limited space I have it's the best I think I can do. If I'm honest I regret getting the Z11 Plus; while it's a decent case for the money it's pretty tight and not a whole lot of room to work in and not enough features compared to the (admittedly more expensive) offerings of e.g. Corsair/HZXT etc etc. The space behind the motherboard tray is very minimal and it takes a bit of encouragement to get the side on with all the cables tied in! That said temps are good after putting in the replacement case fans, it performs well for what I paid for it and when the window is on it looks tidy :D

In the near future I think I'll get another R9 270X Devil to Crossfire, get some Bitfenix braided PCI-E extensions to plug into them and that'll be that. When I next upgrade I won't be skimping on the case. Here are a couple of pics, enjoy :)
