****Show Us The inside of your Case!****

I moved all of my mechanical storage drives to a NAS box I built recently and this is what my primary machine is left looking like:

I also cut out the front intake fan grill for improved airflow and less noise:

Next up on my list of improvements is sleeving the motherboard header cables and replacing the colour of the PSU label sticker.

Nice. Like how you've mixed the green and blue led's in the res.
How does the top rad get any air in/out under the desk like that though?

That's something ive found with mine. My case also sits close to the underside of my desk. Two top fans set to exhaust, i suspect that a lot of hot air gets recycled back into the case. The two remaining fan slots ive blocked with a clear perspex sheet to lessen this. Looking into cutting a rectangular section out of the desk and putting a grill in. Case is too heavy to sit on the desk.

Yeah, I did notice that on your build, but I figured it wouldn't be a big deal since your K2 and the rear exhaust would put the majority of the heat out of the back anyway :)

Literally an inch between the case and desk, not helped by owning a very hot 4770k, which thankfully though is going to be replaced with the new devils canyon 4790k.:D

Ironically, there is only a blue led. The coolant fluoresces green under blue light, which is just a spot of luck as it matches the colour scheme. (and when i originally found out, i hadn't planned the colour scheme)

TBH, i'm not sure how things will pan out regarding the lack of breathing room above. There is 2" above the case and 4" between the side and the wall behind. I can't actually use the top panel usb ports anymore as i can bearly fit a pen drive in the gap. :D

Voltage for 4.5 is 1.275 in bios, 1.280 idle in windows and 1.296 running Asus real bench. Gaming temps on auto fan setting are into the high 70's, high 60's at full fan speed. Last time i ran p95 small fft it hit 94c in seconds. That was on a previous bios that required less vcore. Daren't run p95 etc at all now. Cooler is the k2 with x2 PWM 2350 rpm corsair sp fans.

Ah right. I thought you had a monsoon fitting with a green led in the g1/4 port and also a blue led in the central bit.
2" ain't so bad. The pic makes it look like it's flush against the desk :D

I need 1.31 for 4.4, even with the overkill rad space i have it can still hit 70+ ... the tim job is so so bad.

Cant use the front usb ports either. Well i can if i slide the case forward, but at almost 25kg its not very handy lol. For pen drives i just keep an extension cable hanging from the rear ports or use the usb hub on my keyboard.

Just a tidy up with some Cable Combs, very fiddly as they don't just grip enough with so many changes of direction. Funny camera angle as well, they do not impede airflow at all.
