He was still out cold on the pitch - but obviously that doesnt matter to anyone
I do love how over the course of one summer everyone is an expert on diagnosing a concussion from a few longer range images on tv, doctors know nothing, fans can diagnose concussion.
Seriously there seems to have been a general shift to everyone thinking a head knock or unconsciousness = concussion.... which is rubbish. You know who can diagnose concussion better than you, a CT scan of his brain, a trained doctor who can monitor him and check for symptoms.
Has seriously no one ever been smashed to the ground and you were simply a bit surprised, or a bit winded and didn't move because you didn't want to ******* move. Not moving for a few seconds doesn't mean someone is unconscious either.
It's amazing the lack of logical thinking people have these days, boxers go through matches more often than not without a concussion, but everyone thinks every head knock causes a concussion now?
The body's natural instinct after a big hit is to stay still and let your body decide if it's injured or not.
There is absolutely no obvious signs he was unconscious, people with medical training have cleared him as not having a concussion. You don't take someone off the pitch who has no actual symptoms of concussion, symptoms of a concussion more often than not take 5-15 minutes to develop, each and every situation in which a player was fine then got worse in 5-15 minutes was removed from the pitch and taken to be monitored by doctors, every case(probably 95+%) of big hits on the pitch players go on and are fine and they don't get reported as having actually played through a concussion.
