$700-$650 would be my guess at the 980ti price.

£650 for 6GB RAM............and if it has Water Cooling or a better Air cooler then i'll buy it...........but my guess is it'll be exactly the flipping same

finally, it could even be faster :eek:

............ i'm hoping it's like the 980 !!!! a million different versions, if so it's the one to get, just sell my TX

Less VRAM probably means less heat output + a huge heatsink and tri-cooler the likes of the Sapphire Tri-X should do wonders.

They will also probably OC the same ~roughly .

yea i've got to say that the TX looks great at night, but it whistles away all the time whilst you're doing 3D Graphics, it's not the same sound as when you're gaming, this is more like one of those old whistling kettles, it's very hi- pitched

so if the same card is far quieter then it makes sense to trade it in, we'll have to wait and see

Defo not a SC Des. Clocks are for a regular TX, as is the BIOS version. The SC has EVGA listed as subvendor on gpu-z.

If that was me, I would contact the retailer and/ or EVGA. However, since supply is so limited you might want to flash SC BIOS yourself. Certainly unacceptable though considering you paid a premium and whilst flashing is fairly straight forward, there is always a risk.

I bought it from OCUK. Got it today.
I also got an X99 bundle that was supposed to be overclocked..... unless pressing the OC Genie button on the mobo counts as an overclock :confused:
