Matt, on the latest Win10 AMD drivers Mantle doesn't seem to work at all. You able to check if it's working for you or another AMD peep?

I don't have it installed I'm afraid so cannot check. However once the operating system is ready for release we'll have official drivers ready. I'll pass on your feedback though, thanks.![]()
Mantle is working fine for me on BF4 and windows 10![]()
Let me turn on my PC and I'll check for you![]()
Just doing my job Pete. You may of thought all this time i was just ignoring your requests/questions, but i was making sure they were heard - where it counts.![]()
Blimey, positive comments on an AMD driver, are you sure you're in the right forum?![]()
Metro Redux? did Metro LL get a performance boost?
Anyone here used the Windows 10 Engineering sample drivers lately? I've been avoiding them like the plague. Today I've had four blue screens browsing Chrome (Driver stuck in thread).
Just to check if it was the Intel driver I went to disable that and realised some how the Win 10 drivers sneaked on today without me noticing. Last time I used DDU I ticked the option to not install new drivers. I wasn't allowing 10 to update. Bit confused today how they were installed.
Guess it's time to uninstall then reinstall the 15.5s again!....this is getting stupid now.
Are they the ones that come through windows update?
Yes, coming up as 15.2. Can I put 15.5 windows 8.1 on?
Well, don't know whats going on here, thats a 15% performance increase.
I haven't run this for a long time before now, but one thing i am pretty sure of is that i had CPU bottlenecking in the this, this time round with 15.5 Drivers the GPU was pegged solid at 100% all the way through, i know there is a 700Mhz difference in CPU clock speed but surely that can't make this much difference?
Did you guys reduce your Driver overheads? sure as hell seems like it.

The only way to stop the engineering drivers from installing is to disable windows update on Win10.
Odd thing was I had disabled the updates, it seems to have re-enabled itself at some point. Hence my confusion over the sudden onslaught of blue screens.
