That's helpful, thanks but why would the speed have dropped so drastically form what was already an appalling speed given the ATTN? BTW, I am on Sky, UK.
VDSL2 works differently in comparison to ADSL2. The further distance from the cabinet (you appear to be quite a distance based on those stats) the quicker the speed diminishes in comparison to ADSL2. Attenuation on VDSL2 can't be compared to ADSL2 unfortunately. ADSL2 is a technology designed for long distances, VDSL2 isn't so much.
EDIT: I'm slightly confused when looking at your post again, so have removed comment about staying on ADSL2 may have been better as I can't say yes or no to that due to the confusion.
My one is set to A/I/J/L/M. Would that matter much?
That's fine, this just means the modem will automatically decide.
