OcUk should get some EVGA Hybrid coolers in stock (available elsewhere), they'd fly off the shelves, perfect for every reference owner.

Good choice, Nvidia have the edge atm AMD have that nice HBM and new small designs etc, but Maxwell is just so damn good that AMD can't keep up (Except at 4K). Not just raw performance but Maxwell's efficiency as well, and all those ROPS on top.

Reminds me of when Intel dropped the Core 2 lineup, Nvidia just have the egde and AMD don't quite have an answer... Yet.

Yeah I did consider the benchmarks before dropping my cash and did notice that it wasn't until 4K where the gap is essentially closed. I'll be going 1440p this year so this is effectively planning ahead by 4months.

I have a Shield Tablet also so I do miss that seamless streaming experience which the DOKO just can't provide (30fps limit isn't enough but it does stream at great quality).

The nice thing is that Vcore is locked @ 1.2 during load, which is the sweet spot for this cooler. Under water, I see people putting a different bios.

Now it's time to go artifacts hunting in The Witcher 3.

EDIT: Stable 1500/8000 in W3 (40 minutes, who knows really), maybe a bit more if I spend some time with it.

After having had the Inno X3 and Amp! Extreme, I finally found the keeper. I'm not sure about the temperatures though, got to 83 (26 in the room) with a 1:1 profile. Will try some Grizzly Kryonaut soon.

P.S. The Evil within with DSR looks great.

It's a lot like the Titan X cooler, you can't hear it during general desktop use web stuff, movies etc. When in really demanding game like Witcher 3 the sound is like a gentle whooshing noise, not irritating, but certainly not quiet either, you can hear it with the speakers turned down but it's not deafening like the old 290X etc.

If I was using a larger case I would have opted for non ref, but blower or AIO is best type for my setup. If you have room go non ref, actually if SLI and non water reference is better then as well. Apart from that go non ref lol.
