Figured out that you can ease off the plastic blocks on the clamps (see link for a pic of the blocks) to give more clearance. Just get a flat screwdriver and ease each side off, they are only clipped on.

I then cut a thin bit of wood to go under the desk to spread the load.

How is the quality of that cupboard under the middle of the desk? Have you a photo of the inside?

I was going to use 2 of the draw versions on a desk im planning but the wife things we should have one of those.

Saw a couple of posts with the ikea alex draw unit. It looks nice.. Just ordered it but with only one drawer as the top is only 120cm so may not be much room in the middle?
 
Yeah, looks like an Ikea job.

If you live near an Ikea, and/or can warrant the £35 delivery cost, I'd say go for it. Pretty happy with my desk from them so far :)

I can't warrant, so went 40 miles to my nearest to get the 2 metre Limmon table top and adjustable Olov legs for my desk setup. :) Plus of course I picked up a few other things while I was there. :D
 
I don't drive so the delivery was the only thing for me. It was expensive but I managed to pick up a couple of other household things to make it seem a little less excessive.

Bought Linnmon top (120cm) + the Linnmon corner top, and popped them together.

Loads of space and it looks quite nice... I'll post pics soon, hopefully!
 
So I got myself a few extra matching monitors for a bit of eyefinity/surround gaming :) loving it on Project Cars with the G27! Sorry for the bad picture but the room isnt big enough to get it all in properly

My Man Cave is coming along slowly, my Mrs was kind enough to let me have the box room :)

I Still need some new wall art and to mount my centre speaker on the wall or go for a new 2.1 setup and a headset, my Cambridge Soundworks stuff is over ten years old now!
