I don't know, would be pretty amusing to hurl abuse at the opposing enemy soldiers from behind a wall :p

I 2nd that lol thought it was enabled :( I was behind a guy other day and shouted @ him in local and said hey $$$# lol and while lying dead on floor I used to shout loads of poop @ enemy lol
 
An 'Enemy chat' / 'chat local all' key like , would be nice. Chat to local including enemies. Would be fun to scare them or shout.

Having said that im sure when i have been near enemies hiding i have heard them talking
 
Has this suddenlty stopped working for anyone?

It does does not open in steam or running as admin from folder. I have tried verifying the integrity of the game in steam too (and restarted pc)
 
As basic as it sounds, have you tried restarting your pc. I've heard a few people have this happen and that seems to fix it :confused:

Tried verifying game files
Tried re-installing old video driver (nvidia 361.43)
Tried removing and re-downloading the game

There's a thread on the Steam forum with people reporting the same

Tried that - deleted C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Squad

Running, syncing, closes

Something has definately been changed as it was working fine last night. Nothing on my machine had been changed before it stopped working

This appeared when I ran the Squad launcher?! I have installed it anyway. No uninstall exists in programs & features

We're currently running a server performance test on a server named "Squad Official Server Performance Profiling Test".

Hop on the server if you can, and tell your friends / clanmates to help us gather some numbers.

In order to get the best data we can, we have set up a very powerful server and would like to completely fill it.

The data from the test will help us identify the latest server performance bottlenecks, and should help us quite a bit with improving server side performance.

Many more people getting this now via the forums so guess its a steam client / squad update thats causing issues for quite a few people 'Why my game will start to fail' All the fun of an Alpha game I suppose :p
