Its not bad, it has a memory and VRM cooler plate.
I doubt it looks and different inside to a GTX 1070.

comes back to cost again, but it should run fine with it, those reported 70c temps were when it was running a burn-test rather than normal gaming.

The cooler does look like one of those basic coolers you used to get on AMD's CPU's, if its running at 70c stressed its not using many watts.

Basic is good IMO, cheap to build and reliable. I am sure it will do the job as AMD will want to shake off the bad rep that the 290(x) reference cards had with noise and heat!

Recommented Retail price set by AMD for the 8gb 480 rx should be just shy of £200.

Presumably it will be a vapor chamber? Looks pretty meager, which suggests to me the card TDP will have to be sub 150W.

Don't get that and get a Dp1.2 cable. I had hell and all trouble with cables when running 144Hz and grabbed a UGreen cable and no problems since.

No vapour chamber, just a stock slab of metal cooler. the part is supposed to pull around 100-110 under normal gaming.

why does it say in the slide 480 and in the disclaimer 470?

weren't your problems also due to having a G-sync monitor? can't remember.
The ocuk dp cable doesnt say if its a dp1.2,but as my monitor is only 60hz,that should work ok surely ?
