Cats caught it. Fortunately I caught them before they tried to eat it. Viscous looking thing. That's a £2 for size reference.

Screw was not part of the bug!

Yikes. I'm sure I saw one of them buzzing around Edinburgh Zoo a few years back in the summer. Initial thoughts were it had sneaked in from some foreign country with an animal or food.
