Thanks, is it the thickness of the plate or just the upstand at the side that has a thread going through it?

Just trying to judge if it could be modified or not.

Aoc g2460 (first one with no red or green colouring)

I've tried the included cable and a brand new one 2m which is v1.2

Mine is some Acer with gsync and the cable that I used is the one that came with the monitor.
It works fine with all of mine Nvidia cards.

Fixed issues i was having with a Nano and PB278Q going to sleep by getting Accell B142C-007B DisplayPort to DP Latching Cable one of a few Vesa certified cables available but pricey. Unfortunately OCuk don't seem to do them.

Are you using a DP1.2 certified cable? You can check if your cable is on this list, just check cables and click search. http://www.displayport.org/products...ry[]=cables-connectors&products_manufacturer=

These problems are sometimes caused by using a low quality cable bundled with the display.

i think its just the the stand with the thread to hold the shroud on. everything else seemed clear. I thought about using a copper plate i got spare to increase the height of the block so it would clear but then i would need longer screws etc.

If it weren't a bran new card i might have dremeled that stand off, then dremeled a hole in the side of the shroud, so id have the blower still cooling the card, but the thermosphere cooling the core, a proper hybrid

Got mine

It was finally in stock in switzerland and I was able to get one!

So far so good,

after a couple of HD4770 and a few months with a Intel 530...
(cause there are no Win10 drivers for the Hd4770 and it was not worth looking anyway)

Witcher 3 looks a lot better now

managed to run high memory on Rainbow Six Siege but turning on all the fancy rendering options . Helps when games state the ram usage with each option enabled

I was getting some jitters in GTA5 and Squad. Reinstalled Windows 10 last night and fresh copy of the latest crimson drivers and everything is running flawlessly. Have GTA on vsync running a constant 60fps on very high settings even in the most populated areas. Squad is on epic now for most settings and far smoother than before.

I was really sceptical a reinstall of the OS would make any difference but I was completely wrong.
