im waiting on the EKWB full cover, my EKWB Thermosphere would fit, but id need to remove the VRAM/VRM cooler/card support plate, and i dont have anything to cool them with at the moment.
My Asus 7950 Direct CU II cooler looks like it would fit too but it would be too heavy on the card i think.
I dont know why AMD didnt just use all the available space under the shroud to fit the heatsink, rather than just a very small square.
Yup. Flashed my 4GB card with 8GB bios which also fixed this problem.
And yeah mine is XFX as well.
It was from another reference card so I had to force flash it due SubsystemIDs mismatch .Oh right, interesting - Was it a 8GB BIOS ROM for XFX specifically or just one from another reference card?

When you were experiencing this issue before you flashed z10m did you and do you now have CSM Disabled on your boards BIOS?
Didn't check or do anything to that option.
I was thinking of getting a reference and fitting a thermosphere.
Why does it not fit? What holds it off?
As it appears to be related to CSM you must have had it disabled for it to artifact - If you could, can you double check into your motherboard BIOS now and see if it's still disabled, and if so it's undoubtedly a bug in XFX's vBIOS
Yeah I'll check it when I get back home tonight.
The card is in my HTPC with Z87 board but I also tried it in my gaming rig with Z170 with the same result.
Spent some time this weekend playing with Wattman and a couple of RX 480s, it is a lot of fun tweaking.
Personally speaking, i am glad that we have added voltage control to our GPUs, and this is just the start.
I'm totally regretting this card, I've come from a 780GTX and I cant solve the issue I mentioned earlier. Tried a new DP cable but still the same. I if I change it to 120hz in windows instead of 144 it doesn't happen.
the metal plate that covers the ram and supports the card stops it. If you remove that it should fit fine, but then you have to get some cooling for the ram and VRMS.
