Yes i went for a 1060 for my 2nd PC & i must say its lovely ....
After opening the box the card in a anti-static bag & lays in a egg carton , No accessories come with this card , Only "Quick install guide & Products sheet" , Also remember you can't SLI the 1060 cards ,
This card as 1 x 6 pin PCI-E connector , This is good news for me as i only have to use a short 6 pin cable from my silver stone "SST-PP05-E" kit , Less cable for my Thermal take core V1 case ,
No back plate on this card ,
I installed the "Firestorm Version 2.0.0.009C"
The Fan runs 40% desktop idle 1275rpm , The fan Can only be heard slightly if i put my ear up to the side of the case where the side panel air vent holes are , running the heaven 4.0 the cards temp went to
79c , the temp target is set to 83c in firestorm & the fan can be HEARD , I can unlock the "GPU MAX Volt" & "Display clock" in the Firestorm options & the fan speed by the look of it can be set to 0% /10% RPM ,

I am happy with this little card & is great if you playing in 1920 x 1080p ,Max all games settings out on all games , No Coil whine
The zotac-geforce-gtx-1060-mini Looks like it uses a cheaper heat sink under the fan as to the gigabyte 1060/1070 mini ITX that uses better heat sink with direct copper heat pipes.

What sort of boost clocks are you getting, Darren?


It winds me up that all the review sites are reviewing the models no one in their right mind would buy and the cards people genuinely need to know about get left behind.
 
Picked up a Palit 1060 for £250 the other day. Fits nice and snug in the Silverstone Raven RVZ02 with plenty of space to spare, see below! No fans in the case, its just sat in its own little vented compartment at the top.

Things get a little toasty up there so it drops the boost clocks down to around 1900mhz. This is with a very quiet 55% fan speed fixed in Afterburner though, keeping the 83c temp limit. I've pushed it to +150/+500 with no extra power limit, which gives a max of 2050mhz. It probably has a little more in it but with the thermal issues and wanting to keep it really quiet I'm happy with that.

Performs really well on her new 1080p G Sync panel (not pictured) and an i3-6100. I've added some photos below in the spoiler tags, although I forgot to put my name in any!

Hi ,Sorry only just seen your Post , I have to check tomorrow , Not done any OC with the card ,just all at defort settings.
