Of course you are, I didn't think it through properly, It's a shame as I've only got a 1080p monitor so while it's still in-game settings it is using the virtual resolution tech to scale it up. My card shines better at 1440p which was why I was hoping it was fine :(

Any of the Firestrike benches can be run on a 1080p monitor including ultra as the output does not go to the screen.

I was just benchmarking my 1080 against OC3D's review and something looked a tad off.

The review saw an average of 232FPS at 1440P max settings in A.I with a clock of 2075 on the core.

So far the very highest I've managed to get with 3 different 1080's, Founders, Strix and Classified, Was an average of 180 max settings at 1440P.

Fluke or just accident on the review ?

I only ask as OC3D's reviews are usually spot on.
