Which all the on going issues with SLI and xfire, a single card is the best option IMO.

It just always work, it may not be as fast as the old SLI set up when a game supports it well but its constant performance.

Fed up with the latest games not supporting SLI/xfire until months down the line so you have no choice but to play it on a single card anyway.

Yeah pretty much. You dont get your email to say its been dispatched until a day after you received it

That has got to be some sort of record. I always install new toys pretty much same day.

Yep same day if possible! Just fired it up on air to make sure it works, what a pain it is to drain a loop with 2 rads, cpu and 2 gpu blocks, taken hours

Fit some quick disconnects.

Does not take me very long to change components even with 3 480mm rads, 4 GPUs and the CPU in the loop.

Wasnt intentionally. Just slow building my new pc. On the plus side I had two 1080s brand new in their boxes which i owned from launch and sent them back and got the titan instead

Hi is the titan faster then two 980gtx sli? Also is it quieter then a old 480gtx in air? Won't bother Watercooling it

If you buy one you should really water it just to stop it from throttling, and yes I'd say it's faster than 980 sli.

I don't want to water it. No more room in my case and more hassle. So it seems putting it on water is mandatory?

No I haven't watered down mine, not at least until the hybrid coolers come out for it, you'll just need to run an aggressive fan profile which for some can be a bit noisy

Yeah if I hadnt been so slow, I would have two 1080s in my build now and doubt I would have swapped them for a Titan

So obviously I was destined to have one

Impressed as how it runs Doom and Gears of War 4 anyway

Hi guys.Thinking of buying the Titan XP.Believe me it's been playing on my mind the past few weeks.I have 2 1070s atm running a pg348q 3440 x 1440.Would prefer the single card option tbh.Is the card as loud as some say?Also would it be a good upgrade from the 1070s?

I prefer single card to SLI too.

Depends on your 1070s... if they are founder's editions then you won't really notice any change in noise.

This generation is quieter than last generation.

You can always get a hybrid cooler for it if the noise bothers you which won't cost much extra.

Thanks mate I never taught of the hybrid cooler option.I have a founders here with a g1 and the noise doesn't bother me.Think I'll take the plunge.I may hide it on arrival though or I'll be homeless
