Had a little play with my new Zotac founders yesterday, no overclocking the settings or anything but it boosts out of the box to 1911mhz and starts to drop into the 1800's as the temp rises where it seems to stay, this is with the fan still in the 30's %wise and the card at 99% utilisation so its remaining quiet, certainly quieter than my cpu cooler
So with a more aggressive fan curve I feel it'll hold a good boost nicely, really pleased with this card, quite impressed with the stock cooler too!
I don't know whether my numbers are typical of a 1070 or what, I don't know too much about the 1070 other than my own experience, nor have I compared it to anyone but its much better than I expected,
what are others getting from stock?
1911MHz seems typical of the founder's edition and the basic 2 fan models.
Cool. Got no problem with that
Tidy looking system danv
Thank you I think most credit must got to the case. It does a good job for cable management and tucking the power supply and storage devices away nicely!
IDLE temp 36c, passive cooled. No noise, quiet during gaming.
I love my 1070 xD
This might be my fav GPU now, even better than my old favs the Titan Black and Radeon Nano.
