The Pascal GTX 1070 Owners Thread

Keep getting grey flashes on my monitors with the EVGA FTW 1070.. Still usable but it's like flickering but it's not all the time. Anyone got any ideas?

Had a few strange problems since I got my 1070.

A few times, I don't see my BIOS screen on boot up, then it would randonly appear twice or so and then disappear for numerous boots. Also, I have been getting a few lock up on the desktop or watching youtube.

Zotac AMp Extreme edition, using a SuperFlower 650W Gold PSU.

Anyone any ideas.

Your graphics card might be faulty.

I'd also suggest updating your motherboard BIOS.
 
EVGA 1070 ftw hybrid on offer for £500. Will I regret buying this card at my res of 3440x1440 (no gsync) I like playing games high to max settings but not too fussed about high aa 2x or 4x is fine, even fxaa.
I will be going from one Titan black to a 1070.

eh...I'm not really a fan of watch dogs. This might actually encourage me to try and get a 1080 before the 29th (when this kicks in right) so I can get the gears of war.

I feel sorry for the people who got paragon points.

What's the best 1070 to buy to tide me over til Vega? Will be running it on a 1440p 144hz screen which is Freesync but obviously I lose that with Nvidia.

I want something that's fast and quiet out of the box with a decent warranty and hopefully decent resale value.

Zotac AMP Extreme Edition seems good, anything else? Would have considered EVGA but not now after that recent heat issue etc.

Will buy on Tuesday when the new Watchdogs 2 promo kicks in
 
Can someone help me out im getting annoyed ha.

I got a 1070 about 3 weeks ago but i keep on getting crazy frame drops in every game i play, i have my settings ultra at 1080p capped to 60fps as im using my tv for gaming. im struggling to keep a lock on at 60 fps, just playing mafia 3 and its dropping down to 40's all the time i thought this card was good upto 1440p on ultra yet im struggling at 1080p, cod remastered keeps dropping down to aslo as 10fps its peeing me off
 
While something ain't right there - Mafia 3 is apparently a bit badly optimised and people getting big framerate drops even on super high end setups.
