Snakes on a plane

i cant believe some simps on here dont even realise that this movie is a pastiche.

my favorite part of the whole movie was when the lights in the cabin go out and everyone gasps but one unseen passenger shouts "Its the SNAAAAKES!"

satire at its best.

That was the funniest part by far. It is timed absolutely perfectly.

<lights go off>
0.2 seconds later "It's the SNAKES."

It really was a thouroughly enjoyable film. It was well acted, funny as hell and managed to keep the tension up.

The film overall was the best film i've seen at the cinema for a good few years, everyone in the cinema were clapping and cheering. Was awesome!

What a great film - funny, cheesy, full of cliché moments and characters, bits to make you jump, bits to make you go "Wayhey!", bearded experts, Samuel L Jackson and MOTHER ******* SNAKES!!!

Are film studios starting to struggle to think of ideas for films or what!? We are about to get the third Spider-man film, Superman is back, Batman has begun (thought it started a long time ago!).

For this idea they put a lot of objects, animals and people into on bag and then a load of situations in another and pulled them out....

You can imagine how it went...

"Cows..... in a sky scraper!"

"IT Techs.... on a toilet!"

"No wait I think i've got it.... Snakes... on a plane!!"

eh? You just proved yourself wrong...this isnt a sequel to anything, its a fresh, genuinely funny, entertaining film that doesn't claim to be anything other than what it is :) Absolutely hilarious film, well recommended.

watched this last night at the pictures, wasd pretty good.

but anyone got a list, or website showing which snakes were "in" the film as id be interested to see what types they were!

MAYBE SOME SPOILERS BUT ONLY MINOR ONES

good movie, however i went to see it after seeing an episode of mythbusters where they prove that expolsive decompression doesn't happen unless you take out a whole window. A bullet fired through the window doesn't work! However that didn't spoil it for me.

Anyone notice how at the end when helping the woman who had the dog down the emergency slide the flight attendent grabs her breast.......

Also the flight simulator on playstation 2.......hmmmmmm

:D

also, red bull product placement anyone?
Lol, that was done on purpose as another joke, I'm 100% sure.

When it was obvious he was drinking red bull, you thought 'Product placement', but when you saw the huge crate of red bull in his room, it was clearly done to take the mick :D

What a great film :p

Finally got around to seeing this film last night.
Not really got a great deal to add - I think everything has been said.

Really was quite a good film.
I think it honestly goes over some people's heads - it is supposed to be "Cheesy", it's supposed to have the look/feel of a B movie.
It really isn't a bad film, it's actually a good film made to look bad...

Anyway, if you haven't seen it I'd certainly say it is worth a cinema visit to see.

Anyone hear about the guys who released two baby rattlesnakes into the cinema, was in Texas I think.

Put it this way, I would never go to a cinema again

I haven't done the stats but it looks like every person who's seen this film have give it the thumbs up which is unusual for these forums.
Given the type of film it is, its very hard to criticise it for not meeting its targets. How would it be possible to criticise a 'good film made to be bad'?

Either way, it got the combination just right. Although maybe a little bit too much seriousness at points ;)

Went to see this last night

Thought it was excellent :D It had everything it needed to, even a bit that made my girly scream :D
