Lets make a nice archivable thread of our efforts to overhaul those pesky privateers and give them a long drop with a sharp stop from the yardarm followed by a one way visit to Davey Jones locker.:D

Thursday 31st July: Fleet OcUK get's organised, hoists the big sales and the chase begins

Unfortunately I'm away for the next five days and will miss some of the chase but maybe some of the other skippers can pen some entries while I'm.. er... stuck in dry dock.:o

I'm away too for the next four days (on a mountain in Wales... no Internet!) but I've left the folding box on. The only thing that's going to realistically take it down is a power cut.

Should be interesting viewing when I get back.

I'm pleased to announce that some of the secretaries are going to dip a well heeled toe into the waters, setting sail after that motley crew of privateers. They've managed to sink the fireship that was blockading port, and the flotilla of P4s is presently weighing anchor.

I wonder what sort of distraction they will be to those pesky pirates. Probably not that much. They seem to be more into sheep.

I feel its more like there was a slight skirmish on the outlying regions of the OcUk Boinc/FAH empire, which would probably have gone unnoticed by the proletariat if the uncouth knaves had not rubbed our collectives in it.

However they did and now we have focused our laser like gaze on their retreating cowardly buttocks with the aim of giving them a swift kick in the nether regions to remind them of their place.

We may then hold their heads down in the lavatory of life for a short, or long, time depending on how much effort we can bother to spare on them.

We then, may, or may not, let them go, scurrying off into the distance with their collective tails tucked between their legs while we re-engage in higher order matters.

:D :p

The most up to date stats are on the Rosetta site. http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/top_teams.php?sort_by=total_credit&offset=100

Most of the other places rely on daily up dates which don't really do us justice.

As our production has suddenly ramped upwards, the RAC is lagging somewhat. I actually believe we are now starting to haul them in. The clear water at one point was just under 30,000 credits, down to 21,000 at the moment

I'm 7th now (rac) - with MGP just above me - and were both knocking on Mr.B door in total and RAC

@ pilgrim - are you looking for these graphs they are accessed via the little graphic on the right of our team entry.

I'm confused. I joined our Rosetta team as soon as I registered with the project, but I'm not showing in any of the stats for us

EDIT: Scratch that, I'm just not showing up on BoincStats for some reason. Feel happier now :)

Thanks ss, just noticed that I'm on other stats sites too, just not BoincStats which is the one I looked at first :)

And that is right with two P4s, though the one with 66 WUs just has a large cache. No instability problems here thankyouverymuch :D. BOINC just refers to any and all WUs, whether finished or not, as results, which is a bit misleading.
