Down under mate!
In-light of recent issue I have no choice but to change criteria for MM access.

You now need a 1000 posts and need to have been a member for at least 180 days for the MM to appear. Anyone found spamming to gain entry will have their post count reduced and receive a suspension.

Anyone who gained access under the old criteria of 250 posts and 90 days will not be affected.

1000 posts.

Considering I have nothing actually worth posting on this forum (i dont know the latest tech, i aint built my own system for a long time etc etc), it looks like i'll basically never get access to the MM...

Then why would you want access to the MM if you have no interest in technology? Just use AV Forums instead...

doesnt surprise me to be honest, TP have changed their classifieds access a few times to try and stop scammers, one of the Seat forums has totally removed their classifieds because people kept getting scammed..

It's a sorry sight to see that people take advantage of the service offered by Overclockers when you spend your time moderating the MM and offering assistance without ever taking a % of the sale.

Happy to hear that members who haven't caused any problems and had access previously will keep that. Thanks Thundy.

That is what GD is for, get posting. ;)

Free Delivery isnt affected by this. This is the MM only.

There appears to be many traders with 4-500 posts constantly in there buying and selling in a suspicious manner. Not only this but we have seen cases with people who have 100posts and have been here a year+ all of a sudden spam to gain access.

Spamming to 1000 posts will certainly get noticed so there will be very few who will manage to slip through!

I asked for 2000 posts and a year :D

Considering you average 0.08 posts per day I don't think you are too bothered by it.
