Crysis Patch 1.2 is out

I was getting 30-45FPS @ 1280x960 all Very High no AA on 1.1

Now getting 110FPS @ 1920x1440 all Very High and Full AA on 1.2 :D

All in Vista64 and DX10.

Also don't forget to install you 32K RAMPAC and Kempston joystick, I'm always up for travelling back in time ;)
 
Why am I ?, someone kindly posted the new Nvidia Beta's that support all cards and are to go with this 1.2 Patch.

All the 174's are not for all hardware and only install due to modded file.

Go and read the Nvidia site and see for yourself and higher build # does not mean newer or better BTW.

174's are perfect for me tbh, 169's dont have some features.
 
I cant comment on that and cant you unless you try the above driver ?, they obv launched it same time as Crysis patch so its had work done to it.

You would need try Patch 1.2 with both and keep what makes you happy.

It's really odd how even on a quad core, the game spreads over 4 cores so it takes 25% of overall CPU (=100% of one core). If I didn't know any better, I'd have thought they programmed it to be limited like that.
 
I don't think I'll bother trying to download these until the rush dies down, but I am eager to see if there is any improvement with my 3870 X2, especially in DirectX 10 mode.
