grow up then tom. dont bother trying to call helmut out because you know what'll happen. you're as bad as him. worse these last few weeks. its becoming increasingly difficult to have a conversation on the graphics forum because of the same few people who ruin every thread with the word crysis, or ps3, or 360 in it.

Hmm, I assumed that was my issue (only ever got caught out with it on a few games normally will update regardless).

Was it from Gamershell ?.

Same here Vista 64. It seems to read or try to read from the floppy drive first, then the DVD light blips, and error comes. I might try disabling my floppy drive see if it makes a difference.

Its not that, it will be looking for a file it needs, not floppy to blame.

PATCH 1.1

DX9 - 64Bit - Everything High

Average FPS: 41.28
Min FPS: 31.88
Max FPS: 53.36

DX10 - 64Bit - Everything High

Average FPS: 25.77
Min FPS: 18.19
Max FPS: 31.54

PATCH 1.2

DX9 - 64Bit - Everything High

Average FPS: 43.50
Min FPS: 31.73
Max FPS: 54.84

DX10 - 64Bit - Everything High

Average FPS: 24.51
Min FPS: 16.26
Max FPS: 30.04

I get a small boost in DX9 and a tiny decrease in DX10

I haven't posted frequently in the graphics forum for a while now, I've been busy with other things

I really think you're overreacting it was not my intention to call out helmut, but it was my intention to question one of his statements honestly, now if I can't do this in a discussion forum there must be something very wrong. I don't wish to have bad vibes with the guy. Honestly :eek:

Maybe it's the way I come across but I did not intend to start an argument and hardly posted anything provocative.

I even back up all my statements with facts. I HATE misinformation.

im sure i dont need to remind you of the way you spoke to me in another crysis thread, tom.

but anyway, like yourself i have better things to do. so i shall crack on with paking the last of my stuff here and moving out. speak to you lot in a couple of weeks, probably.
