Mi16 is from the Pug 405 or Citroen BX yes? Why are you referring to a 205 as the original chassis? If Pug made a 205 Mi16 then I apologise and i'm a numpty:p
 
Yes, mine is the 1.9 alu head mi16 (better and lighter) from a 405.

I refer to it as the original chassis... cause it is? Ha!

I'll keep this simple, (due to the above) - Mi16 is the 16v version of the 1.9 engine as fitted to the 205 GTI 1.9, therefore it pretty much drops straight in. It's got 160+ bhp rather than 130bhp, so considering the 205 weighs about as much as a packet of crisps it's very fast.
 
It's the engine from a fairly large 4 door saloon, in a small hatch. I was just explaining, or trying to explain, why the bhp/ton numbers were not that hard to believe.

405 weight = 1.2t

405 bhp/tonne = 135
