right i have the following

amd a10 5800k
gigabyte f2a85xm-d3h board
2 x 8gb gskill ripjaws 1600 ram
coolit eco alc water cooler

for stress testing i was using prime95

Good, that Motherboard has UEFI BIOS, you should be able to take a screen shot of it.

I'd like you to take a screen shot of the CPU Overclocking section of the BIOS, i need to know whats what in there so i can give you directions.

Find out if and how you can screen shot sections of the BIOS, it might even tell you in the BIOS, for example on my Motherboard its F12 and you need to have a USB flash drive plugged in.

Go to system and screen shot that, i need to see the CPU settings layout :) sorry, this is long winded, but i need to know how your Motherboard BIOS is laid out and what feature functions it has and has not.
