Acer B326HUL 32" Widescreen LED Professional/Gaming Slim Bezel Flicker Free Monitor -

I haven't done any gaming yet but here's my initial thoughts on the Acer set-by-step;

Packaging - Nicely packed, felt secure and well-padded. All cables provided (DP, HDMI, DVI, Power, USB, Speaker cable). Very happy with this (take note LG)

Stand - Easily screwed into stand and I love it. Gives a great amount of adjustment and with it being gas powered it's very easily moved.

Media - TV Eps are stellar as they use the entire 16:9 format (and something I do a lot of using my computer). Movies are also great, with thinner black bars over my 16:10 ZR30w.

No dead pixies or backlight bleed noticed either :) I'll do some more testing later today (with some gaming).

For me this is a great alternative to a 34" Ultrawide as it gives you a great amount of space to work with and is a fully supported format when considering games and TV eps (although Movies look incredible in the 21:9 format).

The *only* negative for me is that the stand looks a little cheap but overall I really like it so can forgive it :D

What is it with people in this thread and broken links? :)

Cav, it really doesn't look gold to my eye.

Maybe best looking on google for some user images though...

Why not tell so it can be fixed because its copy/pasted from same address bar I visited it with. :rolleyes:

Or even better post some yourself. :)

I was hoping for semi gloss at least, those matt coating can look crosshatched at times an still get reflections (Rog Swift).

Also gives pop to colours like glass screens.

I only really game/fap etc at night with darkish room. :D

These monitors all use the same AU Optronics M320DVN01.0 panel. It has a 'semi-glossy' surface (very light matte). If people aren't familiar with these surfaces and are asked if it is 'semi-glossy' they will likely say that it isn't. The name 'semi-glossy' is quite misleading - the surface has a 15% haze value, so reflections aren't an issue and they are certainly more on the 'matte' than 'glossy' side. They do not give a graininess to the image or sap it from too much vibrancy, however.

TY, good to know its the type I like, or even glossy as I have no real important PC use during daytime.
