Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare

You can play Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare for free with Origin Game Time!

That’s right, you can experience PvZGW on PC and it won’t cost you a thing. Just add the title to your Origin Game Library now and download it whenever you want.

Your Game Time clock doesn't begin ticking down until you launch the fully-installed Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for the very first time. Once it does, you’ll have the next 72 hours to play!

Origin Game Time is back!

It’s time to team up with your friends in Battlefield 4. The massive first-person shooter has joined our Game Time program. New recruits can now download Battlefield 4 to their Origin Game Library and get one full week -- that's 168 hours -- of non-stop action.

All Origin users have until August 14 to add Battlefield 4 Game Time to their Origin Game Library

Titanfall

It’s Game Time! This is a brand new program on Origin: it’s free time with full games. Origin Game Time isn’t a demo, it’s the full game playable for free for as long as there’s time on your Game Time clock. And we’re kicking off Origin Game Time with a truly massive experience: Titanfall on PC.

This weekend you’ll be able to download Titanfall and play for free for two days straight. We’re launching Origin Game Time for Titanfall across the world over the next several hours, so if you don’t see it available yet in your territory, you will soon. Origin Game Time games will appear on our Free Games page when they’re available to download.

Haven’t felt the thrill of dropping an 18-foot tall metallic beast on your opponent? What about the rush of leaping from wall to wall through the war-torn alleyways of a devastated compound? This is your chance to really see for yourself what Titanfall is all about. Play it for yourself. It won’t cost you a thing.

For Titanfall you’re getting 48 full hours of Pilot/Titan action. It’s the entire game. The Origin Game Time clock begins the moment you start the game for the first time, and ticks down in realtime. Whether you’re fighting your friends or taking a break, the Game Time clock will continue to run.

Love the game after playing during Origin Game Time and want to continue? Your Titanfall progress is saved and you can pick up right where you left off if you purchase Titanfall.

If you already own Titanfall, this weekend is a great time to get back into the game. Origin Game Time will bring new Pilots into the fight – help your teammates or swoop in for some easy points.

Titanfall is only the beginning for Game Time and there’s more on the way. Each Game Time will be unique: different game, different time on the Game Time clock. We’ll keep you posted on Twitter and Facebook (and here!) when your next Origin Game Time game begins.

Good move by origin.

It'd take me longer than the weekend to download Titanfall, let alone play it.

It does say 'clock begins the moment you start the game for the first time, and ticks down in realtime' so I assume you can download the game then have 48 hours to play?

i recommend those who didnt try this do ! very good game.

Have they fixed the woeful weapon balancing and matchmaking yet? :)

But its a bit of a con, because you have to play for 48hrs straight to get the benefit of it. Or at least that is the way this part reads:

Whether you’re fighting your friends or taking a break, the Game Time clock will continue to run

Taking a break meaning turning the game off and going for your tea? Or leaving the game idle whilst you go and make a brew?

Sounds too good to be true.

48 hours? Most people would probably complete it and therefore they would lose sales. Free weekend like Steam already do would be my guess otherwise this makes no sense.

But if its an entire 48 hours to say the game whenever you like, then great.

If it came with an SP campaign & the EA servers (I know it also uses MS Azure Cloud servers as well for ingame streaming) would not be turned off after a few years I would have bought this game

Yeah, as soon as you start the game, the clock is ticking.

It's no more restrictive than free weekend access to an MMO or whatever. If you don't have the time free to get what you think you'll need from the game within the restricted period, then don't start playing it until you have more time set aside. I don't see a problem there.

It's 48 hours that continually count down from when you first run the game - not 48 hours that you can use up when you like. That would be silly, they still want you to buy the game. :p

Considering the lack of demos now this seems like a pretty decent alternative.
