Would be nice if this was a decent remake. I had such fun playing this all those years ago on my PS1

However I don't hold much hope as most remakes for PC are a bit poop

Good news, I see it will have an alternate control system as well as tank controls, so should please everybody. PC specks to be announced later I will **** myself if it says i7 and GTX 780, this should run on a toaster.

Honestly, not a huge difference. If it's priced right then I'll definitely pick it up, but it would also depend on how much they "tweak" other stuff, such as controls or inventory / save systems.

it's nice and all but I'm happy emulating it; the GC version still looks great, as did the MSG remake.

RE1-3 are some of my fondest gaming memories. RE3 is still today a very hard game on its normal difficulty too.

really? i thought the one on the left had noticeably better models. am i getting them confused?

The models look better, but looks like they have just added some sort of sharpening filter to everything and it doesn't look right to me. There are some better comparisons of the main hall and dining room which show it better.

There's a while yet before it's released so i'm sure it'll all be polished up. Still can';t wait to add it to my PC Resi collection and play through it again.

cool, never played the original remake, replayed the original playstation version not too long ago and finished it twice, once with jill, once with chris, thought about firing up the remake but might as well wait for this now!
