Empire at War demo next wednesday!

Just been announced by Lucasarts that the demo will be out next Wednesday 18th of Jan.

Game cant be far from being gold now either.

Ahh fantastic! cant wait for that.

The space battles look brill! I wanna dominate the galaxy and jump from light speed on a enemy battlegroup which I outnumber greatly and show them the power of the imperial might! MWahahaha

doubt it will be, its basically Westwood reincarnated making it, they had an excellent track record on RTS games.

a good SW game is long over due, i remember the good ol'days of Dark forces, XWing and Tie fighter(i know they are not RTS, but they were good SW games)

Given that the past 2 SW RTS games have kinda sucked, there's a good chance that this will too. However I would so love it to be a joy to play.

naa there is too much RTS experience in the design team for it to suck like previous SW RTS games. Im expecting this to be strategy game of the year.

Doubt it. From a non-Star Wars fan point of view, it looks distinctly average.

Now, Rise of Legends, THERE's a RTS i'm looking forward to. Seen as the prequel Rise of nations is still one of the best rts games around.
