I have changed my opinion. I was taken by the star wars music, but upon loading it up again today.. it feels much more hollow.

Compared to recent strategy greats like Rome Total War, it feels very limited.

heh i actually quite liked it ... for the people compaining that it isn't homeworld what is ** obsession with the x-axis ? it wasn't at all usefull... its not like there was much in the way of defenses so comming from below didn't really give u a tactical advantage

i thought the space battles in this were very cool from what ive seen, this includes the demo's space battle, aiming at specific points on the larger ships is a great idea, although after i took out the shield generator i didn't see much point in taking out anything else and so just went for the hull

as for someone saying the AT-AT's were weak i had a massive fight with one of those in the background, and it wiped out my entire tank army (my artillery was in a reinforcement slot so i took it out on the next wave)

the big shield generator is cool, bombing runs when u have ships in orbit is cool ... i think the game is general is pretty cool, will definately be at least looking into the full game

Love the demo but can't see what more the full version will offer. I mean only so many times you can spam a planet with units and it remains fun. Maybe multiplayer will be better in this respect hmmm.

I think I'll wait for the reviews to come out.

I downloaded this but couldn't play it. Everytime I clicked ply it just crashed to the desktop. It looked interesting aswell.

space battles / managing planets i liked , ground battles werent that good at all :/

The game involved a z-axis, quite hard to see a game that didnt have an x-axis, but im just being picky.

Anyway, I did like the way it all turned out, its star wars so I wasnt expecting much, but from the excitement of space battles the whole demo just turned into a 'meh' for me, I dont see it being shot down in flames but I dont see it being game of the year either.

almost a year to the day as well lol

i like the game though, if you like rts games and starwars you could do a lot worse, can probably get it on the cheap now as well
