So I picked it up today having waited around 9 months for delivery. In the early months it was all about colour and trim. Expensive cars can still look awful when the owner has more money than style. So, Cobalt Blue it was, with black leather and a liberal splash of carbon. No interior pics yet but I'll take some soon.

This car is a Tiptronic which is actually a little quicker to 60 than the manual. It works well too, mainly because of the tons of torque available low down. In fact it makes peak torque from just 1950rpm right through to 5000rpm and with overboost that's a mighty fine 501lb/ft. That's nice usable grunt.

Of course it's quick but I'm running in, and it handles. But you knew that already. I'm looking forward to getting to know this car in the coming months. In the meantime here's a few snaps taken today.

I hope you like them.

So is this going to be your every day car Spie?

Also on the front bumper it looks like there are some scratches or smears?

HI m8

Well what can I say, it looks absolutely stunning and the colour, well thats a damn nice blue and makes a change from the usual silver or grey colours you see. Also looks far better with the ceramiq brake option too which I assuming it has from the yellow calipers.

I fully expect you to have run the car in by tomorrow m8. :D

Yep, I'll drive it most days.

Dead bugs on the bumper :)

I am not a massive Porsche fan, but that is fantastic. I love the colour, nice brakes too

Drove past an identical car in town yesterday, nearly crashed cos I was staring for so long.

I've always been indifferent to Porches but this latest model really stands out, and I can only imagine how nippy it is.

PS. *******
