Fair enough pictures do have a habit of telling lies :D

Hi there

Yes thats definetely the internal organs of flies and bugs, you see when you fit a fly at warp speed they have a tendancy to just smear on your paint work. :D

Tell me about it my cars littered :p

The layout of the lights and grills on the front bumper looks a little awkward, as do the vents on the corners of the rear bumper but you can't deny that its a stunning motor. Very nice indeed.

No doubt there will be many strange people along soon to say that 911's are dull and boring.

Not me. That's one absolutely staggeringly good looking car and, IMHO, probably the most complete sports car in the world.

Congratulations - I hope you enjoy it :)

Not much else needs saying!

It will be interesting to see if Gibbo goes german on the monday..

Hi there

If I had the money, I'd be down to Audi and buying an R8, thats my current must have car that cost sub 80k. I love the styling and all the reviews say it handles sublime and its got great steering feedback/communication. So yeah guess thats German. :)

If I had the money then yeah I'd probably be looking at 911 Turbo or that Superleggara Gallardo thing.

This car is a Tiptronic which is actually a little quicker to 60 than the manual. It works well too, mainly because of the tons of torque available low down. In fact it makes peak torque from just 1950rpm right through to 5000rpm and with overboost that's a mighty fine 501lb/ft. That's nice usable grunt.

Of course it's quick but I'm running in, and it handles. But you knew that already. I'm looking forward to getting to know this car in the coming months.

Hi there

The EVO 9 I drove today made 366Lb-Ft at 3200rpm and when the turbo came on song it kicked you in the back and felt like you were going up the road like a missile.

As the 911 has 501Lb-Ft and is also Turbo is its power delivery ferocious making it feel like a crazed missile or does the 911 keep the power delivery more like an N/A car as in more linear acceleration? In the EVO it picked up well from 2000rpm and past 3000rpm it was just wooshing, wirling, hissing and screaming right upto the 6000rpm I was taking it upto and well it would be impossible to lean forward from the rush of the turbo pushing you back and as such was wonderin if the 911 feels similar or if its more civilised?

Don't get me wrong the EVO makes things feel way faster than they are, but against a 911 Turbo an EVO won't stand much of a chance, especially at speeds past 60mph.

stunning :]

i know a few people dont like the alloys, but i think they look fantastic!
