The 911 Turbo

I must say, the car looks spot on mate ;)

I just don't particularly like the wheels. I'm not sure why though. Perhaps it's the negative dish, on the rears at least. I just don't 'get' them (they're probably light as though). Still, damn fine motor, and just about everyone will want a go :p :D
 
Now, I hate 911s, they just seem to be the default "I have some money, what car shall I buy" car, but the turbo..

The turbo is cool :cool:

And that colour is stunning. Really, really nice choice. Sets it off perfectly.
 
Very very nice, although a man of your wealth, would have thought he would have his own home baker not having to buy peasant bread hovis :D probably best non in your face colour, not sure on the wheels but they dont take any of the presence of the car away.
 
Very nice! My uncle has the exact same car, well perhaps not the exact same year. Plus his is a left hooker. Very nice and fast, I've only ever had a shot on dusty roads so never really let loose with it!

Although he went for black, so perhaps he doesn't have taste like yourself?

Hi there

Well from been in the M5 even though it was a nice car it had 3 problems which I am sure Spie will agree on. Its steering is a bit lifeless like most BMW's, it has a huge lack of torque and needs to be revved to get the most from it and well its a big heavy tank and weight hampens handling.

The Porsche will have far better steering, quicker, more precise and lots more feedback. The Porsche has way more torque and as such it has power throughout the entire rev range wheras the M5 really needed revs to get going and the Porsche weighs a lot less than the M5 which obviously gives the Porsche far greater handling.

I am sure Spie will be able to comment exactly where the Porsche is better but I'd say the Porsche does everything better. M5's only real advantage is it can transport 5 people in relative comfort at warp speed wheras the Porsche is really only ideal for 2 people.

Bet its fast, I have a general idea as someone I do some work for has a 997 turbo with circa 520 bhp, had a ride in that, so so fast.
 
You may have a real Porsche 911 Turbo, but do you have one of these?
